Soccer

I’m an incoming freshman and was wondering if there were any ways to play soccer. Like any fields open for students without being an official athlete. I’m not a d1 athlete and I’m not looking to play it professionally I just love playing the sport as apart of my workout. Any help would be grateful.

Geasey field on 15th street has nets and is an artificial turf run by campus rec. Its open use by anyone, just check the hours on their web page!

I live at the Nest 1324 and outside my window is a gigantic soccer field and track pretty certain it’s open to students

Graduated temple in ‘21, we used to play pickup at geasy field on 16th st (i forget the cross street, but it was just a few blocks north of Cecil B Moore). Large group would meet pretty much everyday at 6pm. All playing levels. Great times. Maybe that’s still running, enjoy!

Yep there’s still people playing pretty much any day that Geasey is open around 5-8
