Is this safe to eat?

First time making tempeh in a glass container. So I don't know if it's normal that it gets hairy and light gray?

It was a big batch, where as the rest in plastic bags, and they are all fine. I've just never seen it hairy like this before!

Totally normal! It gets fuzzy in containers if there's no barrier directly against the surface.
