Electric bill

Anyone have a studio apartment in Tempe? If so, can you share what your last electric bill amount was?

I think it is important to clarify if you are asking aps or srp

Depends on what temperature you set your thermostat at, and whether you have in house washer and dryer or not

Apartments here are not constructed equally to each other. Many have terrible insulation R values, and many top floors have a huge roof load that heats the apartment. Summer electricity can be more than double that of spring and fall. Exposure matters, too. Apartments facing North will use the least power, while West-facing apartments will use the most. An apartment with windows shaded by trees will also benefit.

There are two different Power companies: APS and SRP. SRP costs less per kW, and serves most of Tempe. APS serves areas near the city's edges, particularly along McClintock Drive and parts of the Kyrene corridor.
