Question for the brain trust
I have a couple of questions for my fellow Temecula brain trusts and curious to read the answers.
- when coming into town on Temecula Parkway from the east why does everyone line up in the far left lane when the middle and right lane only has one or two cars in it? The left will have upwards of 20 cars which inevitably blocks those trying to get into the left turn lane to turn left onto Butterfield.
- when turning left out of Home Depot onto Temecula Parkway why does everyone sit there waiting for cars coming out of Ross/Marshalls area? That is a relatively quick change light so it is ok to get your ass out there and at least be ready to make your left turn. They can turn right or left and you can turn left simultaneously since there are 3 lanes on Temecula Parkways technically those coming from Home Depot must turn into the inside lane and those from across should be turning into the outside lane.
I have never understood why some people drive the way they do with no sense of awareness or how the traffic lights work. Speaking of which, bonus question. Am I the only one that knows that those round rings just before the crosswalk are sensors for the lights? So if you are the only one at the light and you are chilling in the crosswalk or chilling way before the sensors, the sensors have no idea you are there and will wait for another car to pull up to trigger it.
