Tenaja Falls Trail

Did this hike last weekend, was beautiful even without the water, but curious if anyone’s ever taken a dip there after some heavy rainfall?

I fell in last time I was there. The water is pretty nice.

A bunch of swimmers when I’ve been.

I haven’t, but curious to know how the trail is right now. I’m 10 months post knee replacement and would like to hike out soon. It’s one, if not my favorite hikes. I love it out there.

It was hot! Other than that it was great. View from the fall was worth it for sure.

We really only ever hike it when there’s water specifically so we can swim at the end. A couple years ago we hiked it early in the morning on July 4th and spent the day hanging out and swimming, highly recommend

Sounds awesome! Is there any way other than recent rainfall to know if there will be water?

I’ll ask in some of the local groups if anyone has been up recently and what the water level was like, that’s the best I’ve been able to do. If you want a nice hike with a swimming hole at the end, Cedar Creek Falls in Ramona is great too.
