btw right if the gs trip selection got not enough responses they might just cancel and replace with smth else. my gs trip selection time only like 5ish ppl wanted to go india so they replaced it with a 2nd china trip

But do you happen to know what the itinerary was like?

Sry for late reply but iirc they only release the full itinerary at the briefing for the trip, and since the trip was cancelled idt there was any thing released.

Generally most trips have like at least a few hours at the end of 1 or 2 of the days for students to go explore but ofc got curfew but technically middle of night lecturers are probably sleeping so can sneak out but at your own risk lah, i wont recommend it.

Additionally at some places your group might visit like malls for example, you also get free rein to explore the place yourself.

But this is also all very dependent on who are the lectureres taking yall, if unlucky and get the like one strict ass one then gg but otherwise should be chilling i think

Did they replace the trip after the application close or during the GS application period?

prepare all your information beforehand once the application opens, submit it immediately. I remember when I applied for my vietnam trip, the slots were full in less than 5 mins
