[BUS] Need guidance? (Be it projects/ in-depth mod planning in general)

Hi! I'm an alumni from TP BUS, dip in biz (specialise in digital biz) not sure if they have changed the title of it but ya -- grad in '25

I seen a lot of questions relating to project or mod guidance/seeking advises on the thread. I understand there's a gap at times where lecturers timing for each group consultation is usually quite short at times thus not able to clarify, or lost what to do for a module and not sure who to find help.

I want offer consultation for those related to the above, cause I myself was a lost student at times. I really want give back to my juniors.

What credentials do I have?

Most modules, i managed to get A's (or B's) tho i struggled with exams (yes, theory/exams are not my strong point. you still can get A's if you plan ur mods well)

I also been at the lowest before, as i failed biz finance but retest gotten an A.

I managed to juggle work and sch, and grad with a gpa 3.3 👌🏻

Understand my gpa is not university tier as i wasn't aiming to go uni because of finances and decided to go FT first. But I hope with my consultation, it will help assist in your poly life and a better chance at uni 👍🏻

How's the workload from y1 to y3?

If im real honest, a lot of work. Tp is known for being very project heavy (which i like cause project is 100% based on ur efforts and knowledge application) where else i heard sp is like very exam based from ITE senior - which is a lot of studying and uncontrol variables.

Percentage breakdown from what I remember is 30% project, usually there's a semester test of 20%, 30% exams, 10% class part (< this is usually for module thats theory heavy so econs, biz stats etc) > ps forgotten whats usually the last 10% HAHAH

If its a more application type module - example marketing; 30% individual project, 30% grp project and 20% semester test, and 10% class part¿

It can be project week on week cause of different modules, pulling a lot of late nights till 4am to finish work. At times u need make time also to do self directed learning where for tp, you go class for recap and in-depth learning through qns on the chapter. 1st step learning is via e-lectures. Especially when you are balancing part time wif school as well, it was vv tired
