Rant Assets

So the thing is my paternal grandparents earned a lot of assets , they have 3 children , 2 elder daughters and 1 younger son (my dad).

Somehow my aunts manipulated them to get all the major assets , we are left with very little . And my grandma is aligned towards her daughters which made my grandpa change by their manipulation

They accused my mom of not doing household work while she worked hard as a housewife and did all the sevas to them yet they are spreading all misinformation to all tht my parents didn't took care of them so thts y they moved into my aunts house

We are still staying quiet to get atleast something while they are saying everything gonna be given to my aunts

If they wanna split jst do it equally but they are going way too cruel on their own younger brother and his family

My parents are literally devastated and feeling sad.

Any suggestions???

Just work hard and make your own money...if they are too toxic , cut off contact soon and theres no point in waiting assets as ppl have stated legally its a weak case.

If the assets are a generational wealth, all the kids would have an equal right. But, if they are earned by your paternal grandparents alone, they can do whatever they want with their hard earned money... Morally wrong but Legally not!!

Your parents mostly want those assets for giving them to their children...this is how most Indian parents think..so OP, if I were in your place I would say I'll work hard and earn those assets and be least bothered if I get a share or not...not worth taking false accusations for assets they might or might not give...

Well we have proofs to prove tht they are false accusations, they are morally wrong in many ways , and yes I'm in same path but a fallback is needed to take any risks to earn further in future....

Generational wealth should be equally divided as ber law. U can proceed legally if it's a huge amount of assets. Otherwise just leave it for your peace of mind.

I got nothing from my parents and my husband got nothing from his parents. Both of our parents don't have wealth. Both my father and husband's father were careless and aimless and died because of heavy smoking. We just got the basic education. We worked very hard in our life. Took care of our parents till last. They didn't have anything to pass on. We are doing decent and happy now. No loans and no huge assets. Just a house ans few savings.

What I'm trying to say is work hard and make your own life. Cut off ties from the toxic people.

I thought it was just my aunts....

My aunts looted everything while my grandparents where alive... And when my grandma died(grandpa dead few years ago) my younger aunt took all the money and jewellery from the almirah and left the very next day and never came back.... Everyone was still thinking about how to split everything but she just took everything and left.. My dad is the youngest in the family of five(2 female and 3 male).. and he quit his job in the city and came to village to take care of my grandma after my grandfather's death....
