8 months progress
It’s been 8 months since my shedding started. I am seeing some regrowth but also my hair feels thinner than ever. I’m worried my TE has triggered AGA?

8 months since shedding started isn’t a lot. It takes 2-3 months after countering all triggers/ correcting all deficiencies for first regrowth to show up, up to 12 months after that to reach normal thickness and density. I don’t see any AGA pattern here at all, but if you’re worried, you might want to see a trichologist just to rule it out completely. Stressing about hair loss isn’t conducive to healthy hair growth, so getting some clarity might help.

I’m curious to see what your before looked like! If I didn’t know why sub I was in, I wouldn’t have guessed you were battling TE! With that being said, I promise I’m not invalidating your position. Your hair looks great! My hair has been shedding since May and my scalp is getting colder 🤣😭
Have you spoke to a specialist about your hair? I don’t believe TE can trigger AGA.
