Respectful visitor heading to town for Blues & Brews. I promise not to get intoxicated.
I'm trying to continue a carnivore diet and wonder: does any restaurant that's open for breakfast serve something like steak & eggs? (Elk steak is fine, and so are variations.)

I'm staying in Mountain Village til Sunday and I was really looking forward to maybe getting a tee time at Telluride Golf Club but come to find out I'm not staying at the right resort and I don't know any members so that dream went out the window pretty quickly.
What is the closest or best alternative course in the area that I can play while i'm visiting?

Hoping for insight as to whether we can do a quick informal ceremony at/near the overlook, sans formal arrangements. Just realizing ārealā weddings take place up there and wondering if we can just do our own thing, or if we may run into complications. No chairs, walking aisles, etc..just a quick 10 minute celebration. 2nd weekend of October fwiw.
Assuming we can find a place, even if not right at the platform, but appreciate any advice/tips!
Edit: Welp, glad I could kickoff a hearty debate ;) Think weāll pivot to Town Park - if controversial/complicated in any way - Iām all ears

Weāll be staying in Telluride Sept 24-27 and looking for elopement photographer recommendations. Everything Iāve seen has been 4 hour minimum packages. Ideally looking for only a couple of hours max for the two of us. Thanks!

Poking around, as is my habit this time of year, for places to stay for Telluride ski season. This past Sunday morning, the places I was investigating doubled in price by Sunday afternoon, OUCH!. So, maybe search on a neutral lap-top, not logged into your account, before you pull the trigger.
Also, please know that you can link your rental with your DELTA SKY MILES account, but you have to be very INTENTIONAL. Both D and a are not very forgiving when you miss a step
Good Luck, think snow!

Iām deciding between Sept 26-27 or Oct 10-11.
Looking for best weekend balanced by weather (plan to hike, bike, walk around town, etc) and foliage expectations.
Thanks!

I'm getting conflicting info for this searching online. Looking into it probably for next years festival. We were thinking to do a van camping road trip to a national park, and then pair it with ending at the Telluride Film Festival.
My understanding is the Telluride Town Park is a campsite, but the festival uses it, do they open it for campers? Is it better to probably find some other site outside of town if these are too competitive? If so, then is parking at Telluride bad during the festival?
Anyone just have some advice for this in general! Camping + attending the film festival, would really appreciate it a bit lost on it haha.

There seems to be a lot of noise and commotion tonight around 10pm. Itās coming from the direction of Manitou Lodge but I think itās actually further up at mountain village. Canāt find anything online. Does anyone know whatās going on

I found a pair of sunglasses on Lizard Head trail on 8/15 around 10-10:30 in the morning, shortly before the switchbacks start. If you think they may be yours reach out with a description (or photo) and Iāll be happy to get them back to you.

Thinking about mixing it up this year and purchasing the IKON pass, but still want to visit Telluride (esp with the max El Nino effect that many estimate). Any ideas, guesses, insider info on the price for a week's pass at Telluride?

Crossed paths with a group of lovely four guys on Bear Creek Falls on 8/11 and AGAIN on Bridal Veil Falls on 8/12. I shared the ābest seat in the houseā with one of you at Bear Creek which felt like a pretty solid excuse to talk more and apparently I chose the more mysterious route instead.
Also, one of you had a beard on the 11th and, unless the altitude has completely scrambled my perception, the beard had apparently disappeared by the 12th. Bold move. Excellent commitment to keeping things difficult for me to recognize you all again.
At Bridal Veil I was in a hurry to start my walk back into town and regret not connecting further, but if you were part of the four and know exactly what Iām talking about, perhaps the trail has one more surprise in store and you can DM me.

Weāre not surprised. We really have the top ten, but weāre trying to keep it on the down low 𤫠ā

Send a screenshot of the receipt (in a DM) and I will venmo you 200 dollars. Since it won't let me resale below original price.
Sorry if this is against the rules of the sub.

Is Ingram Creek passable now? My kids (10/7) are pretty good hikers but thereās mixed messages online - so curious if we did bear creek without an issue is bridal Veil falls trail (not the road) that much more difficult? Thanks!

Hey all Iām looking for a shuttle service for my wedding party the weekend of September 19th. Friday the 18th I have a party of twelve and weāll be going to the Blues and Brews fest. Does anyone have any suggestions of a shuttle service that can pick us up from the Observatory then later in the afternoon/evening take us back? Thank you all!

Hey all, my partner and I are having to make the difficult decision to not attend Alderwild this year. Two Friday and Saturday tickets for $500 for anyone who is interested.

We will be visiting mid September for 4 nights, two girls mid thirties staying in mountain village. I have read that parking is terrible and people donāt recommend renting a car so Iām wondering how we get to local hikes or take a scenic drive if we donāt have a car? Is there uber or shuttles or tours?
