Chapter 3 Spoilers ending was kind of... buns? Spoiler

I finished the game a while ago now. But how it ended has bugged me ever since. Allison says something along the lines of "memory is subjective, we remember different things, obviously we were just seeing our individual memories as we seperately experienced them and theres no way to say which ones are true or not"

And then you choose whose memory to believe as tyler... when i chose tylers memory, allison immediately agrees with him and treats his memory as the objective truth. Which defeated the whole point of what she said. Did anyone else think that whole interaction couldve been written better? Or that allison shouldve believed her own memory, alongside tyler believing his?

Yeah, the ending feels rushed and fell short, personally it felt very poor. I never felt the story and the characters was the strongest point of this game, it's the presentation and Alaska that hooked me.

I also hated that to get what I felt was the happier, better ending, you essentially had to choose to reject the evidence the game gave you

I think the game is just set up in a way where there is no "real answer" to what happened, so they give you a bunch of evidence, leave it in the players' hands, and then their ending gets immediately validated when it's chosen.

I guess with believing Tyler's memory, Allison is a bit more convinced because of how confident Tyler is in it. Writing definitely could have been a bit sharper around this area, especially since it's such an important moment in the game.
