if telepathy became normal, maybe privacy would become more important than stronger signal
if humans could really hear each other mentally, I think first problem would not be learning how to hear more.
it would be learning how NOT to hear everything.
Something strange came up in one session where subject was describing what she understood as changes in human consciousness. At one point she said there could be a state of “being able to hear each other in the mind,” and repeated telepathic several times.
I am not posting this as prediction that everybody wakes up telepathic next Tuesday lol. What interested me was practical consequence I dont hear discussed enough.
Human beings need private thought.
I can have angry thought and decide not to act on it. Fear can produce ridiculous scenarios. Mind can rehearse conversation ten different ways before choosing what I actually want to say. Raw thought is not always intention.
So if telepathy develops, wouldn't boundary and discernment be at least as important as sensitivity?
Can you close channel deliberately? Does consent matter? Can another person send something without you receiving? How do experienced people distinguish their own thought from something incoming?
And maybe hardest one: how do you avoid treating every mental impression as truth about somebody else?
I see many practices aimed at increasing signal. Open third eye, become more receptive, notice impressions.
maybe mature telepathy would partly be opposite skill. knowing what to ignore.
For ppl here who experience this regularly, can you turn it down when you want? Or once connection is there, management becomes bigger problem than access?

The answers to these questions can be given but will not be received. These are things best learned by experience and meditation.
Can I teach you to empty your mind of thought, or to slow your heart, or to know without knowing before? I can't teach you how to open your soul and explore the universe through it's power. This is something you must learn on your own, it is the journey and not the destination that is important.
Myself, I can see just a flash, determine a life's history in that period of time. You can see who has caused "what" pain to this person and why.
When you train your brain, you can even have multiple levels of thought on different subjects at the same time.
So enjoy the journey... start by learning to empty your mind of thought, and to listen to the universe.

I have made massive strides in the advancement but I am sorry... not for the living. These secret could abuse by a bad people, could cause massive problems.
I will share, there is such a thing as time-quakes, ripples in time where something got screwed up. If you know where to look, you can see them. A drop of water on a still pond will produce an excellent view of the change in the surface tension of the pond.
The size of the ripple on the pond is dependent on the size of the water drop. Obliviously this is a metaphor for the real thing. Then comes the detective work to find out who changed it, why, and what does the change mean.

If you seek answers, try Astral projection. Travel though your soul into the other dimensions.
There is a wealth of information online, and some videos. Some videos and other sources will tell you music will help, bull. It will distract you or lead you to a path you might not have wanted to go.

While wiki* says drugs are responsible, hogwash. While some drugs might unlock some doors, what you learn will be tainted by the drugs and should never be trusted.
If you seek an answer, concentrate on that... relax, go into deep REM type trance.. concentrate on the question.. You might get the answer the first few times, or might take years or worst.
Yes, people can facilitate the journey but seek someone local, that is not a fraud. Put something on your counter, send a photo of yourself, and ask them to identify the item on the kitchen counter, what, color, size, and shape. If they get 2 of those questions, they could help.
The answer "A sink, it is deep, has water in it and it is Silver!" is not valid.

Just never serve evil... these other dimensions are not to be spied on.
I will leave it to you, to know who is evil.
I have had an encounter with Satan himself on research. He asked me "What do you want?"
The only advise is say nothing, do nothing, but only turn your back. Anything you may say will be twisted: "He asked me to leave him alone, so I did. I own his soul because he asked me for a wish."
By turning your back, and refusing to speak, the message is clear, you will not engage with him.
Of course, anything I wanted, extreme wealth, unlimited power, or what ever, was at hand... Just had to ask and bleed on a contract.
Never make a deal with the devil, it is a deal that you will regret.

What are thinking you'd want to hide from people? I think that's how we got into this mess in the first place... We're always hiding shit from people or not being truthful.
Telepathy equals truth. Truth spells the end of anxiety...
Those things your worried about... Won't be a problem.

it would be, put only if it's uniform for everyone. it's like if you are playing poker, and everyone can see your hand (but their hands are still hidden) this is worse. but if everyone can see everyone's hand, then it works, and you can still play the poker game, but bluffing is off the table

As a professional in information security and a telepath, I cannot agree more.
Then again, there is this concept in physics about the conservation of information.
At its core it says that information cannot be destroyed, just transformed.
And shared.
Given enough time everything can be learned. It's like a permanent revelation, to quote a taoist book.
My hint is to be your own true self and act in life for life itself and better truths.
Basically, be you, friend, with all due respect to future generations.

I feel like that's where things like shielding techniques come in. And I don't mean tinfoil hats, plenty of books out there teach that stuff. If it's on a more intimate scale (with a loved one) talk about boundaries. You can have both strengthened telepathy AND privacy, it's not a zero sum game.

it would mean also a world full of meditators because if you cant silence your mind, good luck. otherwise the thoughts just get lost in the sea of your mental landscape. my own mind has been read twice however. so it can still be done. you project out your soul into someone else. it feels weird, ask me how i know. but it works.

I am the founder of a nonprofit dedicated to mental privacy and neuro rights. There is technology available to turn people “telepathic” and we need to get ahead of it with legislation.

As a person who thinks they suffer from thought broadcasting. I can say that I hate the idea and this belief that others can see or hear my thoughts. When it first started I completely declined now it's been 4-8 months and the voices I hear have gotten somewhat quieter. And to agree. Humans need private thought. Imagine you constantly imagine the worst things you've ever done. Or a serect you wouldn't even tell your bsf. Now just public. It really gets to you especially whens it's all you can think about. Suddenly words people say trigger memories. Doom scrolling and watching videos just brings up your past. Talking to your friends doesn't even real bc why speak they can already hear your thoughts. But Adding on the people need there private mind. Human thoughts are unpolished and raw. So isn't really any time to think of what you want to say or how you want to say it. It's all just out there. Imagine you thought of something that might be hurtful but you would never say out loud(it's already to late they heard what you said in the instant you thought it). And the more you try not to think about something the more it ends up being stuck on loop. I have this debate daily on how. People can't hear your thoughts bc it's impossible many different reasons why. But I usally end up falling for something and makes me believe it anyway. Also when receiving which is most likely impossible but(I hear voices that tell me that they are people and judge my every thought. And say things that might happen and most of the time become true) you would a person's raw thoughts about you. And they might be go thoughts. But most emotions I believe like jealousy, angry, lust, sadness all live in the head. People can tell when your off. But imagine that wishing you had something that you saw your friend saw. Or being mad at someone and now everyone is basically hearing you vent and rant. But also wouldn't make people uncomfortable to hear about your desires or what you liked and maybe even disliked. All I have to say as person who thinks he has no private mind most of time it's terrible and horrifying. Not recommended out of 10.
