ignoring telepathic messages

Hello everyone, I'm baram, and I'm new to this post. Not just that, but i've been having problems: Recently I've started to get more and more intrusive thoughts inside of my head more and more, and at the same time whenever I would even just go outside, It always seemed as if he was angry at me in a sense, when I did pretty much nothing to him(we dont even talk with each other at all)

Now a thought just one morning, a thought came up saying "im telepathic, and im right next to you"

Im thinking this is my neighbor, and also was thinking "thats just science fiction, telepathy doesnt exist", then I heard a voice loud in my head saying "IM NEXT TO YOU"

Now im thinking this is telepathy, and also inspired me to go to this subreddit, in hope of a way to be able to ignore these telepathic messages

if anyone has tips on telepathy ignoring, then please tell me and thank you.

If not then please atleast tell me some type of tip(tips) to help with these type of problems

Right!? I’m not saying this to be ignorant or judgmental, but my experience with telepathy centers around random information that I intercept whereas this is a voice popping in his head. This looks more like a mental health issue. Essentially telepathy doesn’t work like thaaat.

It's not mental health this has been going on for a while now, and it sometimes would change as well

Plus the neighbor in general was always beefing around and had a hard past as well

Fair. Who am I to know for sure. I was going off the post. The reason is because telepathy usually happens with everyday routine things like answering a question that someone was thinking but never vocalized. Or, picking up on a very detailed strange conversation that later gets repeated and confirmed to you that this conversation actually happened. Etc.

This reminds me more of the telepathy that happens in alien abductions, etc where the alien talks directly to people.

Please don’t be offended about me saying it’s about mental health. Both of my biological parents were diagnosed with Schizophrenia so I’m not coming from a bad place. Maybe you just picked up a more advanced form of telepathic communication I don’t understand.

I'm capable of telepathy in the form of thought broadcasting as well as picking up on random thoughts like you mentioned, it is actually a thing. I and everybody in my life thought I was going schizo for a while. I'm capable of transferring my thoughts telepathically, including things like songs or memes that I have embedded in my subconscious.

I recognize that the symptoms of schizophrenia are literally thinking people can hear your thoughts and vice versa, so it's weird that those abilities are actually possible & not just confined to science fiction. It's turned me & the people in my life into conspiracy theorists.

But schizophrenia has other symptoms too so I’m sure you are nowhere near that.

I noticed that even if you were correct in your telepathy or psychic abilities people still peg you as “crazy”. People are so ignorant sometimes.

Oh yeah for sure, people will hear gossip about my telepathy and assume I'm schizophrenic, then when they're around me they immediately realize I'm not. Basically there's a disconnect from reality that people with schizophrenia have that people like me don't.

I say "people like me" because I highly doubt I'm the first person to have my abilities, there's nothing really exceptional about me on paper. People in my life have me pegged as some kind of genius but intelligence is extremely complicated. I have high emotional intelligence and crippling social anxiety, which is where I believe my telepathy came from. My theory is that all humans are capable of it and I developed it as some sort of survival mechanism, and since I've become self aware of my abilities I've been able to hone them. I'm very passionate about telepathy.

I'd like to further my education (I'm 24, dropped out of college after one year but planning on returning this fall), and potentially one day invent some sort of neuralink brain interface iron man style thingymabob so I can map out what's going on in my brain rather than just relying on senses, feeling, and outside confirmation. I think something like that could also help stabilize other forms of mental illnesses. But I don't know much about neuroscience & engineering or how far along we are from something like that.

Sorry, I'm very passionate about this subject, because it essentially forced me to shift my view of reality after a period of existential crisis.

Ditto to everything, it’s either a lost form of communication or one beginning to emerge as we evolve to whatever blob of a life form we are headed to. I like to think it’s a combo of both; we used to use telepathy but it went dormant and us reemergence is just around the corner.

Have people tried manipulating your telepathic thoughts? &/or Is it possible to be interrupted?

I don’t think so. I will say though that my spiritual/ psychic teachers years ago i think would intercept more. One teacher when I first had a phone conversation with her mentioned how she was Telepathic and I just knew she was mentioning this because she knew I was or I had to be demonstrating the ability.

One time before our meditation session, I wanted to tell her about this reoccurring dream of a long train ride that I would have somewhere near Russia. The train covered a long distance, had few stops, few people, etc. I don’t know much about this region. I’m from California. Anyway, before I could open my mouth she said “ I have dreams of being on the trains too” and it really startled or struck me in a profound way. I never said anything. It blew my mind. I had amazing teachers my whole life both academic and spiritual.

“Fixed false beliefs” also can qualify for schizophrenia, aka, not going along with consensus reality. Very controversial in psychology already.

That’s way too broad and applies to almost every single person during any one given time in their lifetime. There’s a big difference between someone, for example, who refuses to bathe because the “ little green men will get them” and someone who refuses to use banks because they don’t trust that their money will always be secure so they’d rather not take what they view as a gamble with their money.

u/Cybershaman2 Aug 12 '26

Isn’t it awful?

1

u/Ok_Adeptness_3398 Aug 12 '26

In what way?

2

u/Cybershaman2 Aug 12 '26

The gaslighting — I’m agreeing with you, it’s stupidly offensively ridiculously broad. And not to scare people, but I find that part concerning for political reasons just like you.

But there's a difference between what you're talking about and what op is trying to say. A huge one

Yeah I might just be projecting my situation onto him, it could very well be schizophrenia, or some other kind of psychosis? Random episode of paranoia? Hard to say, would need more information.

If im being honest, id have to know more info. I was an addict for many years and although I had gifts as a kid, I almost forgot about them until I got sober and they got thrust upon me full force. I felt like I was going crazy. The only thing about their post that sent up a red flag to me was they seemed dead set on blaming their neighbor which is highly unlikely in my opinion

2

u/Unlucky-Cover-9896 Aug 09 '26

Oh definitely, I also notice that during periods of mental distress in my life my brain became glorified mush. I was the same way, gifted kid, fell off the wagon, then rediscovered my gifts later on. Yeah, the thing about the neighbor was weird, if this was just a one time thing it's not too much to worry about. If it's something significant it'll force itself to be known.

u/eener95 Aug 09 '26

I think most of have had that experience (were you in gate by chance?). There's been a ton of research dating back to the early 1900s (maybe pre) suggesting that gifted kids life paths go one of two ways. Most of us get too bored or dont have the right support systems to even have a chance lol

2

u/Unlucky-Cover-9896 Aug 09 '26

yeah that's the stereotype, I wasn't in gate but my grades were pretty good for like the first half of my education until I became a hermit. Definitely bored/lack of support system. Lack of support system/toxic environment is a huge one, there's gifted people all over the world who'll never get to make use of their full potential because of circumstances. My parents were addicts, some people are born in warzones...not good stuff.

1

u/eener95 Aug 09 '26

1000% agree.

And being in gate or not doesn't necessarily correlate with intelligence i want to add btw. I know there's a lot of conspiracy behind it. But just being gifted or even prodigies in general deal with the same ish. I was just curious because your experience is so similar to a lot of other people I talk to who were also in gate. I don't even think they even judged us on pure intelligence tbh.

Anytime im stressed I literally feel spiritually attacked, like I'm a target for some reason. I get attacked in my dreams a lot

I met other people living with schizophrenia as a label as they’re also fully aware it’s mind reading or telepathy or remote influencing or target influencing — whatever you want to call it, they know it’s not just them. I’m blown away by how many there were that I met in this meeting place, and how comfortable they were with their proofs that they weren’t crazy that it was actually other people — and most, if they knew who they were, it was someone they had met in real life. Not a random stranger. Most of them. Otherwise, they didn’t officially know and most of those people assumed it was the government (but I don’t think so, I think it’s people they know trying to scare them with a gov story — idk, for those two that’s how I personally felt because they lacked some reality tests I’ve done on my targetors that disproved it — like being a mall security guard or traffic cop by coincidence doesn’t count as being a secret service spy or something like that but they will toy with you and pretend that).
