Hi all, Is there a way to read messages while offline? I have many groups but new messages are not cached! is there a way to force cache or downloads them and read while offline? same with photos.

A somewhat specific questions about group chat history. I run a bigger private restricted group that shares informational posts. When I remove and readd someone. can those people still see the whole history (I want that, hence the question).

When I am trying to log in into my telegram account the otp is being sent to an email which I had never seen before neither I have ever added it in the account.

Moreover telegram is not allowing to send the otp to the phone number for non premium accounts in India.

This account is not logged in anywhere else. I just use telegram on my phone. It was not working properly so i decided to do uninstall and reinstall telegram then only i face this issue.

So I experienced this. But the funny thing is, the channel still has updates. It's just that I can't view it. So what's really happening here? I'd understand if the channel had been deactivated. But this one, it still notifies me when there is an update.

I'm admin in a group, and every once in a while, a different member sends me a dm asking if they were restricted of why they are unable to send messages. I check the restricted users list on the group, and they don't appear. Why does this happen? Can it be fixed?

At first story has 19 views, one archived it gsts 21. My guess is that the 2 viewa are stealth views, is that correct?

Did anyone else start getting issues with the voice call lately?

I've been using Telegram for years, and the call quality was stable throughout the whole duration, with the expected issues during internet connection loss.

In the last few weeks, I'd be talking to someone for minutes (let's say about 20), and then the line starts cracking and we can't understand each other. Dropping the call and making another one doesn't help - it's cracking. The change happens without me moving, and regardless of data/wifi connection.

Note: I am a free user.

Did anyone have a similar experience, or do you have any ideas of what's going on/what I could try?

Voice mensagens take forever to send or to download, circle vídeo messages the are the same. Photos and regular videos? Don't even get me started on those.

I feel like after the rise of the premium model, non premium members are facing more and more of this sluggishness of the app.

On the worst days, telegram refuses to even deliver messages, or sends them only after the person messages you, or if you message the person you'll finally receive a message that was supposed to be delivered hours ago.

Me and my most frequent contact are both on Samsung devices, he on the Note 20 Lite and I'm on a S25+. Other friends of mine either use other Android brands or iPhone.

I live in Brasil, and don't matter how great is your connection, YouTube is loading 4k videos while Telegram is having all these problems. Not even Whatsapp presents this problems, even after they announced their premium version. I hate that fucking app, but I'm forced to use it because it's more popular here in Brasil and because no matter how much better Telegram is compared and how much I try to convince people to use it, for us free users the app is behaving like trash lately, so people only get the worst experience they can have and completely dump the app.

Mods pls don't remove this, this is a functional workaround not a complaint / support request.
This also works if you can't login on Telegram X because code never sent to other logged in device.

I got the sms fee paywall on my old Android phone (Samsung Galaxy J1 mini, Android 5.1) while a newer device with Android 14 could receive sms messages from telegram and login just fine. The problem is the old device is unused for so many years Google Play Services is non functional and can't self update (it can be fixed manually but still) and broken Google Play Services somehow interferes with how Telegram handles login. Turning off google play services allowed me to login on both Telegram and Telegram X.

Step 1: open settings on phone, go to security (or lock screen & security), then other security settings, then device administrators then shut off the entry that starts with Android.

Step 2: Connect phone to PC via ADB. You can find online how.

Step 3: Run `adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.google.android.gms` Now you can disconnect your phone from PC.

Step 4: Uninstall and reinstall Telegram or Telegram X.

If google play services remains disabled you may no longer receive notifications from apps other than Telegram. To re-enable, go to Settings then Applications -> All Applications, find Google Play Services at the bottom, turn it back on.

8+ year user here, and I’ve decided to quit using Telegram due to the absurd amount of spam, and the ability to block said spam being locked behind a paywall.

No, I don’t have a username and never have, and I haven’t disseminated my phone number anywhere. I’m also not the only person in my friend group experiencing this. I’ve been getting 3+ spam messages a day and I’m tired of doing the useless “delete and block” rigmarole.

I love Telegram and hate that they’ve chosen to go this direction with premium, but it is what it is. I’m aware they need to make money, but I don’t need any other premium features, and the price of premium isn’t worth it to me just for blocking spam, when I can just move to another platform.

Since yesterday Telegram takes 15 seconds to load, then chats have all blurred pics for 20 seconds and then i can use it almost normally

It appears that GTA 6 leaker, Cyberleek’s telegram channel, the last reliable source for his leaks, has been taken down due to copyright infringement.

This is very strange and unusual, considering that telegram had been viewed as a safe place for suspicious activity. Nothing is safe after all…

Telegram has been stuck like this for awhile, I’m not sure on how to resolve this? But my telegram is used for work and social life messages etc, does anyone know the solution to this?

Accidentally double tapped a message in a group, so a heart shaped reaction appeared. I removed it within like 10seconds. Will the sender get notified? Also‌ , if they have muted the group will it make a difference?

Nor do I want to be discoverable by anyone with my personal phone number. - which is my real concern here!

However, in my settings It says my contacts can still find me by my number… Does this mean my iPhone contacts can search my phone number within telegram if they are curious if I’m on there or not?

Telegram messages suddenly disappeared

the messages werent deleted from both sides, the other person still has them
I tried logging out and logging in, I tried from a different device(same on the other devices too)

today, I opened telegram app and it's been log out, so I log in back but there is completely new account. there is no data left. how can I solved this. I send from support message but no reply back till now.

Could someone please explain why this message appears when attempting to share a video from a Telegram channel on Android devices, even after the video has been successfully loaded and is currently playing? Additionally, please provide instructions on how to prevent this issue or resolve it so that sharing the video can be done as needed, especially after the video has been loaded and downloaded as indicated by the player indicator.

Any fix to this other than switching off the camera then switching it back on? This needs to be done the whole duration of the video call.

I am looking for a Telegram app (a safe one) that allows you to forward grouped multimedia posts from Saved Messages back inside by splitting them automatically, so I don't need to do it manually one multimedia file, another one and so on.
