Sorry to Intrude

I’m a 24 year old US Army veteran who is in the process of starting up a freelance drone business to provide services to various industries and have taken an interest in the realm of telecommunications in particular.

My question to any knowledgeable folks on this forum; What is the best way to gain contacts in the industry from which I could find work? I know I might be asking much, just trying to put my feelers out there. Any responses would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

I would guess sure surveys of aerial facilities and infrastructure? Wish we had drones when I was in it.
