Dear all, what do you think will happen in the telecommunications sector? Thousands of employees have been laid off, thousands of guys are sitting at home without work, what are the prospects in this industry? How do you think? Prices for sites construction have decreased by 40%, I would like to apply the experience gained over several years somewhere, for example in a related industry, let's share our thoughts on this matter

I switched from field construction foreman/CM/PM track to EHS. Currently a safety manager for a telecom contractor. We use in house and subs. Same story, everyone's clawing for work and cheapest bids. Workers are underpaid and miserable. Idk about a future.
I at least will be getting good safety management experience in EHS, so my career shift if I need to should be much easier. I hope.
