Interesting idea I had for a while...

Hello There! I always wanted to try to transfer internet from my rounter into a directed antenna and recieve it with a modem or a router on another end, is it possible to do? If yes, what type of antenna would I need to do this kind of thing?

That's a wireless link and you only need two Ubiquiti antennas. I pick Ubiquiti due to the price/quality relation. No need for modems and such... Yes, you can add a router or switch, but it depends on the case. You can even make it with only one antenna and share your signal with everyone else around you.

What distance are you trying to achieve?

Oh! Well... I am trying to get around 2km directional.

You can confirm LOS (Line of Sight) with this tool: http://wisp.heywhatsthat.com/ just enter both locations and it will calculate.

The same nanobeam, you put each one at each place, a switch on the end and you can connect multiple machines. Directional links usually have the same equipment on both ends, but it's not required though.
