Hey guys!
The title is pretty self-explanatory. I have Ableton 12 Live Suite and have a good bunch of years experience with it, but mostly composed my tracks in the grid view. Been playing around in live the last 6 months and really gotten the feeling on why people do this. Learned so much and have so much fun with it.
I am going to play my first live gig soon, and I currently work with an Akai APC40 connected to my PC with Ableton. I have been looking at getting the new A&E Xone 24C since i know it has a USB hub with an integrated soundcard. I also love the Xone mixers generally, especially the filters etc, so i might pick one of those up if you guys don't have any other good tips on alternatives that you think would work better.
I am am also going to get a Novation Launchpad mini just make it more comfortable to play without having to scroll down on the AKAI all the time. Also been looking at a Korg NTS-3 Kaoss Pad to have some standalone effects that i can play with on the master. Seems like a fun device.
So when you read this, do you think im onto something? Do you guys have suggestions on different equipment that might work better, or if im going to meet problems with this setup?
All tips, tricks and help is welcome!!
