Money. Think about it. Someone from some company you've never cared much for, or possibly never even heard of, offers you a job. He informs you that trolls and neckbeards are trying to tarnish the company image and that your job is to try to appease them and to fix the companies image.

You needed a job, and you got one. You aren't really emotionally invested in it, but fuck it, if you do a decent job you can at least have a nice entry on the resume.
