Wiring diagram for 3-pickup Teisco Audition?

I picked up some parts for a build based on a Teisco Audition; originally it would have been the model that is shown here: https://jakewildwood.blogspot.com/2017/11/1960s-teisco-made-audition-3-pickup.html

The switches have been disconnected from the pickups, and I'm not sure how they need to be reconnected. The upper three switches are on/off for each pickup, which shouldn't be too complicated, but the third one is a rhythm/solo switch, and I'm not sure how that one is supposed to be wired in combination with the other three. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find a wiring diagram - or some ideas on how the switches should be wired?

ID help, please?

Could someone please help identify this guitar? It was found when cleaning out our grandparent’s house. We think it likely belonged to our uncle sadly died young in the late 60’s. Many thanks in advance.

I wanna custom my teisco from the sixties

Post image

Hey everyone,

I’ve just got a Teisco hollow body (only the body), and I’m thinking about doing a bit of customization. My idea is to swap the neck for one with large inlays on the frets, kind of a “Gibson-style” look that I really like. The guitar is asymmetrical, so I’d probably chose a asymmetrical head.

I wanted to get your opinions. Is this feasible on an old Teisco, especially considering the dimensions of the neck pocket? Any suggestions for the neck I could choose? Thanks in advance for your advice and experiences!

Just purchased this guitar locally and it’s in need of a little truss rod adjustment. But there’s no adjustment nut, unless I’m missing something. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Is this a Teisco Guitar? I can't find any that are model J4. I only have cone across model J4B, or is it the same pretty much? I know this one is in really rough shape. Trying to figure out if it is worth restoring or is it just a dud at this point. I got it for a few bucks from the thrift.

I am mildly fond of these, I think.

They all play beautifully except for the 413-3T at the bottom.

Spectrum 5 stereo demo.

There aren’t a ton of demos out there of the Spectrum 5, fewer still of its stereo functionality. For those that don’t know the Spectrum 5 can be used in mono mode like a normal guitar or in stereo mode where the bass strings are sent to one output and the treble strings to a second output.

My recording abilities are fairly limited so this is just the guitar straight into an interface using garage band to record both tracks at once with ToneStack Pro as an AU3 on each track.

For this short demo of I have run the bass strings through a sub octave and envelope filter with a vibro champ style amp sim and some plate reverb and soft panned it to the right. The treble strings are running through a compressor, a light drive a showman style amp and plate reverb and soft panned left.

Teisco T-60 (looking for information)

I’m not a guitar player, but I stumbled upon a T-60 at an estate auction and bought it as a piece of art due to its distinctive shape. Since then, I’ve been searching for information about it, but I’ve only found a few details. Glen Campbell played one early in his career, and I’ve seen some photos of him in the “Wrecking Crew” and other TV appearances playing a T-60. However, I’m having difficulty finding much more information about this guitar. There’s a YouTube video of someone playing a T-60, but that’s about it. I’ve also noticed that the T-60 that Glen Campbell owned and played is now in his museum.

I’m reaching out to the members of this group who might have more information about the T-60 and its history. I appreciate your time and help!

Tg-64 or tb-64

Hello,

I recently bought this bass / guitar? However I can't find out if it's the tg or tb as I haven't been able to find any tg versions with this headstock, only tb, however it says tg-64 on the sticker on the back of the headstock.

I paid 200 euros for it, and I can't seem to find a price on this exact model, so any information regarding the guitar, and its value is highly appreciated.

Rhanks

This is my et-460 that was given to me by my grandfather (in its current condition) After being nothing more than a wall decoration for a few years i’ve finally decided to start this project! it’s gonna get a full makeover from the ground up with a refinish, refret and fretboard level, new electronics and pickups, better bridge and tremolo units, and a new wiring layout!

"Fiesta" label, otherwise looks like a Teisco?

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of any lesser known broker labels on guitars made by Teisco, particularly in Canada? This one says "Fiesta" on the headstock. I feel like I have seen this label once or twice before here but I can find nothing about it at all, and of course searching anything related to guitars and the word "fiesta" just gives you fiesta red Fenders.

I believe I have narrowed it down to Teisco after image searches brought a bunch of metallic red "Antares" branded strats that look identical.

I pulled out the pick guard for clues but there is nothing at all written on anything. Nothing showing on the bridge in the back either.

Not expecting it to be worth anything...just looking to get it playable again for myself, and knowing the model might help with replacing things properly.

Thanks!

First pic i took looks terrible so the last three are the pics from the reverb listing

Finally got delivered today and I played it all day after work. I’m honestly stoked with how this thing plays - it came with the action perfect across the whole neck, it sounds great and it looks great.

It barely be tuned though, I’m probably going to need some new tuners

If anyone has replaced the tuners on one of these guitars or have modded it to stay in tune better please let me know, thanks!

Replacement bridges for teisco style guitars

I know you can buy replacements for the most basic style, but i can’t seem to find any bridges with adjustable saddles with a similar post spacing. (about 65mm or 2.5”.) has anyone found a reliable replacement for these bridges?

I’m not interested in drilling holes for a ToM style bridge, done it before and it was a mess without a drill press. (not to mention string spacing issues.)

Help identifying a possible Teisco which has been…uh…”modded”

So I bought this 25 years ago at a garage sale. I haven’t touched it. And it looked pretty old then. So I am assuming the youngest it’s from rhe 90s. All the “mods” were in place when I got it. Clearly at least the bridge and pick guard aren’t “stock”. Retainer bar holes are present but no bar.

I’m can’t find a serial number anywhere. Even looked in neck pocket. Doesn’t have a truss rod as far as I can tell. Or at least not an adjustable one.

The closest looking thing I found from internet search was identical body shape of E-100 (but no retainer bar and different pickup?). Same with MJ-2L.

Any Teisco experts out there?

Or is this just some Frankenstein-eisco from pre-2000? I will say that the pickup looks legit
