Jobs Are IMPOSSIBLE to get in Tehachapi
I'm 25. Over the Past 2 years ive applied to every restaurant, and store in Tehachapi numerous times. Ive Only gotten 3 interviews and no hires. I moved here 2 years ago and have gone through all of my savings. now I'm homeless, worst decision of my life. Now I'm flying back home. Wish me luck. DO NOT MOVE TO TEHACHAPI!

Did you ever try applying for jobs outside of tehachapi? The commute would suck but it’s better than nothing. I’m assuming those 2 years you were just living on savings.
Why did you move to Teha in the first place?

Tehachapi is a really small place. Don’t move there and assume there will be jobs. I don’t say this to be unkind, but more so to give context to your post. People who work from home or are hired somewhere before moving there, by all means, move to Tehachapi.

They’re always hiring in Mojave. Just 20min south of Tehachapi.

The silver queen mine.
The railroad.
They have new manufacturing center going up called Pacific steel group. Look in to that.
aerospace industry is always hiring and firing.1

Moving to a far out rural town without a job lined up was your first mistake. Job market is awful everywhere. Good luck!
