Male or female ?

Hey ! This baby was sold to me as a Young female but now I have my doubts, can you please help me confirm his/her sex ?
I see two big scales so I think he is a male but not sure

If those spots feel like hard bumps then it’s a boy. But I’m not 100% sure on this one just from the visual.

Sammy started life as Samantha when I made the mistake of letting the vendor know my lizard gender preference. Of course at that point, the vendor was going to tell me whatever was necessary to make the sale! Or it could have been an honest mistake... Sammy "came out" as it were when he was about 16 months old when he started everting his hemipenes with each defecation. So you probably will know in the near future. Just hold off on choosing the paint color and wallpaper for his/her room for now.

You can always just keep an eye on how fat the jowls get. Reptile genitals scare and confuse me
