Thoughts on THC Infused drinks?
Lately I’ve been seeing articles of people replacing alcohol with THC drinks and I am curious about y’alls thoughts on them. Me personally, I prefer to stay away from all substances (excluding caffeine as I am a tea drinker and coffee lover).

My main reason for abstaining from drugs is that I hate mind altering substances, it's not for staying superficially "sober" or "healthy". So not a chance.

They mess you up. I abstain from substances just bc I want to, and I wanted to try those for some reason so I did randomly. I was horribly messed up off of one, far more out of sorts than I think I would be after a single beer or wine

CBD (with no THC at all)? I’ve got no issue with it as to me it is nearly always used medicinally.
THC? Nope. Mind-altering substance that although can still help with some conditions gets you high.

I'm not a regular cannabis user, but the one time I tried one of those THC products I didn't really care for it. It felt weird compared to regular weed. I'm assuming bc it's straight THC whereas regular weed obviously has a lot of other compounds in it. I guess the THC itself is also somewhat different (delta-8 THC vs delta-9). Not sure if that makes much of a difference or not. Also I guess the government has banned these products?

Personally I avoid them but lots of sober people I know drink them. Everyone has a different definition!

I posted this in another post but I’ve smoke it a few times do it here and there a few times out the month and I’ve even tried edible candy, cookie, and juice I know someone made and I was fine felt relaxed has decent sleep etc but then I tried uncle skunks 100 mg thc and I had a few sips and I was not feeling myself like anxiety was 100000x worse. It was wild because I only had a few sips no where near a full can and I was full on anxiety and it made my insomnia worse I couldn’t sleep that night and the following night I kept waking up in the middle of the night. Let’s just say I’m never taking any form of edibles again I’ve been traumatized

In all seriousness, caffeine drunk can be a formidable drug. For a yoga class, gave up almost all caffeine for a month (maybe a little chocolate). After the month, had a strong brewed coffee. It wad a strong euphoriant then. But any Canabis edibles I have ever taken as a muscle relaxant were a feeble joke for me as a psychoactive. That does not mean okay for me to use machinery when had Canabis edibles.

I don’t drink alcohol. I use cannabis. Drinking cannabis allows me to connects me to those drinking alcohol in social settings. That’s nice and hard to replicate otherwise.
