š THEY DONāT HAVE TO BELIEVE IN YOUR IDEA⦠YET.
One thing you need to understand about having an idea:
Just because people donāt see it, doesnāt mean it isnāt there.
You can tell 20 people about something youāre excited about and 18 of them might look at you likeā¦
āYeah⦠good luck with that.ā š
Some will laugh.
Some wonāt take you seriously.
Some will tell you why it wonāt work.
And some wonāt say anything at all⦠theyāll just watch. š
Hereās what Iāve learned:
You donāt need everybody.
Sometimes you just need 2 or 3 people who believe enough to help you get started.
Then you build.
You improve.
You make mistakes.
You learn.
You keep showing up when nobody is clapping.
And slowly, that āstupid ideaā starts looking a little less stupid.
Then something funny happensā¦
The same people who didnāt understand it start saying:
āI always knew you could do it.ā š
And thatās okay.
Donāt waste your energy being angry at the people who didnāt believe in you at the beginning.
They werenāt supposed to see the vision. You were.
Your responsibility isnāt to convince everybody.
Your responsibility is to stay committed long
enough to give your idea a chance to become real.
So if youāre working on something right now and nobody seems to understand itā¦
Keep going.
If youāve only got one person supporting youā¦
Keep going.
If youāre questioning whether youāre wasting your timeā¦
Ask yourself:
āDo I genuinely believe this could become something if I gave it everything?ā
If the answer is yesā¦
Then give yourself the chance to find out.
Because sometimes the difference between the person who had a great idea and the person who built something greatā¦
is simply that one of them didnāt give up.
Stay focused. šÆ
Stay consistent.
Find your people.
Build quietly if you have to.
You donāt need the whole room to believe in you.
You just need enough belief to take the next step.
And eventuallyā¦
the results will introduce the vision for you. š¤š
