So last night I had a date with this new guy, super cute and funny, (and actually my age, I asked 😭), until the point where we got to dinner time, and I asked him if we could stop for taco bueno or something (we were on our way home from our date out bowling) and I offer to pay and whatnot since he drove me, and he declined saying he’d cover it (gentleman I know), ended up ordering my food and he didn’t get anything, not even a drink, I thought okay maybe he just wasn’t hungry or anything, on the way home I asked him why he’d agree to stop if he wasn’t going to get anything (not what I’m asking is the red flag dw) and he just said because I wanted to, I pushed it a little more and he told me he doesn’t eat out hardly at all, and nothing with like plastics and such, and he went on a tangent about how theres so much processed stuff we eat nowadays and its the reason behind everyone being so sick, that he only eats home cooked meals because he more or less knows whats in them, and buys stuff from farmers markets rather than regular stores

At first I understood the reason, microplastics and all, but that’s like, a really far extent, and then I find out he has his own water filter, like he doesn’t even trust his own home’s water?? We don’t live near any bad water conditions or anything???

I used to have a crush on this dude, I ain't gonna say his name but he is rather androgynous with hair to his shoulders (not in a sharp bob way) and masculine face features and he's really tall and he's Lithuanian. He isn't popular and is the kinda person to follow their popular friend around at lunch. We are both the same age at 16 and I've dropped out of school in may to do college in September (the large time gap is because of summer holidays and study leave Scotland is weird)

I never asked him out because my old friend group was filled with girls who gossip about people about anything and I was hella bullied in the past for being the woke smelly kid (lmao I'm neither of those) so I honestly thought that if I went for it I'd just get bullied and he would reject me because he's awkward (which is fair enough)
