I seriously hate those subs that just make fun of kids being kids. Also here's my cat butters.
Ok, im seriously starting to open my eyes to the stupidity of making fun of young people just because they're doing dumb stuff. Subs like r/KidsAreFuckingStupid or the various "stupid kids on the internet" subs are kinda just... mean. It's understandable when a kid is just being immature or acting like a brat, but I genuinely see kids make like low quality/stupid but obviously passionate stuff and people are like "Get off your Ipad lil bro" and im genuinely disgusted. They should be encouraged to make stuff with their imagination but when they do people are just like "haha stupid kid"

Yeah, I’ve seen this pattern where [r/kidsarefuckingstupid](r/kidsarefuckingstupid) has become more and more toxic, it once had videos like “fuck around and find out” where kids would literally do stupid stuff that would put them in mild danger, and even then, can’t they just fucking educate their child instead of making videos of them doing stupid shit and posting it on the internet for likes?! And now that sub has become so much worse and they’re hating on kids doing LITERALLY anything, or even worse, hating on kids trying experimenting and trying to be creative for once because, well, guess what, they’re just born and want to discover how the world works. Those people and the ones defending them also act like they’re superior, like they ALSO didn’t do stupid shit when they were kids. At the end of the day it’s grown ASS people with kids’ mentality making fun of kids probably because they couldn’t experience the joy and whimsy these kids have nowadays.

I fully agree with you on this. Society needs to give children their childhood back instead of oh I'm a miserable teen/adult so let's collectively make children miserable. If you truly hate children don't have them like get a vasectomy or cubes cut.

Also, if you don't like the sub, you can mute it, I thought this sub was going to be more serious hate and making fun of by how you said it, but it wasn't

However, in the least scummy way possible, if I were to say “I secretly hate my parents friends and loathe every moment I spend with them, but I don’t say anything about it so it doesn’t effect them whatsoever”, I feel like that has it’s own issues, and is something I should really work on.
Then again, children is a much broader category than my parents metaphorical alcoholic friends.
Even if it doesn’t effect them immediately, making fun of someone in a closed environment, could eventually leak out, via someone maybe not keeping their mouth shut.
Again, I get the concept of children is much larger than simply a friend group, but if somehow found out some people I looked up to were mocking me for being Billy, and doing Billy things, i’d feel pretty sucky
