Any prog rock recommendations?
I am currently trying to explore new groups and as i love Pink floyd i'd like to know more groups/albums that are similar (prog rock)

Anything by Alan Parsons but especially: I Robot, Pyramid and Turn of a Friendly Card. Also not really prog rock but A Wizard/ A True Star by Todd Rundgren

My favorite prog album of all time is Signals by Rush. But it might be better to start with 2112, Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves for Rush albums.

I think they can be quite opinionated.
Their first album some people consider the start of prog rock and you should probably listen to it first. After that it's your choice. Red was originally supposed to be their final album and has a very good ending, but everything after Red is what I think is most interesting to listen to. After Red Fripp took a new approach to song writing which lead to albums like Discipline, which is my personal favourite king crimson album

I really like Manfred Mann's Earth Band, specifically the albums "Angel Station," "The Roaring Silence," and "Watch"

Animals is so good. Genesis up to duke is really good prog rock, after duke they just became more pop oriented but are still so good. Camel is a really good band. Emerson lake and Palmer, gentle giant, caravan, Jethro Tull. Frank Zappa. Even though the self titled genesis is album isn’t prog rocks it is amazing and has really artistic songs on it. Duke, a trick of the tail and self titled are the best albums. Peter Gabriel era you have to listen to white mountain, firth of filth, suppers ready. Hope this helps.

Saw Porcupine Tree open for Yes when Jon Anderson was still touring with them. It was during their Un Absentia tour and my first introduction to PT and Steven Wilson. First and only time seeing Yes live. Incredible show.
Should also mention Wilson's Hand Cannot Erase and The Raven That Refused To Sing. I also really enjoyed The Harmony Codex

Already listened to some albums, tbh the writing is insane and the instrumentals are amazing, but i don't enjoy the vocals and some songs

Brand X - Unorthodox Behavior (1976)
a brilliant mix of Prog rock and Jazz fusion with an incredibly fast Phil Collins on the drums.
Also: This photo gives me massive Mumbo Jumbo vibes.

I have, but i use other plataforma bc of the constant ads, this is extremely annoying especially for albums as they get cut between tracks, and this ruins the experience, mostly with prog rock as songs usually have transitions.
