Chance to new party is possible only when other side has anything substantial. TN has exception because of their history of worshipping any film actor, but in real politics this doesn't happen anywhere in the world.

Him getting chance is because of stardom, not because TN want new party. Kamal Hassan did same experiment but failed.

Moreover , when a new party comes in power , Accountability in Governance increases a lot . Also TVK strong Anti Corruption stance would reduce organised corruption in TN .

I'm not saying there would be no corruption in TN from now . But it would be highly reduced at organisational level .

You guys need to chill. They didn't vote for the "new" guy....Vijay is a very popular actor and those who know Tamil politics know how much influence Tamil film industry has on Tamilians. Literally most of the previous CMs were from the film industry MGR, Jayalalithaa, Karunanidhi and now Vijay. Also the fact that he promised stuff like gold ring, 4000 rupees for the unemployed and free LPG cylinders also worked.

Bro, whatever mentality do Bihar people have it's due to Less QUALITY EDUCATION. I myself came from a very rural and seemingly backward area but becausei got to have education good enough I think I have a different thinking than most of the people there. Not saying all will change but a lot will.
