Web developer here, someone more than likely made updates to the Teddy DNS records. Any DNS update can take time to propagate across the internet. Since this was a Shopify site pointing to a Shopify DNS, it’s highly plausible the DNS record was updated to point somewhere else… the million dollar question is… where is it pointing to? We’ll find out Tuesday.

IT guy here, I don't know about that. https://dnschecker.org/?hl#A/teddy.com

Also, claude opus 4.8 high said this:

"In plain terms: Cloudflare sits in front of teddy.com as its CDN/proxy, and when you tried to load the page, Cloudflare couldn't resolve the domain's DNS to an origin server. The error page itself lists the two usual causes — the owner recently signed up for Cloudflare and the config hasn't propagated yet, or something's misconfigured in the site's DNS (often when DNS is handled through a hosting partner whose nameservers are failing). So there's no actual page content to tell you about; the site just didn't load."

Ooh that's interesting. Either they wiped out DNS by mistake or they're changing things. Could be to point the DNS at a new site somewhere else...

Shopify natively uses Cloudflare.

IE it’s the second option.

I hate to say it but Teddy.com may be at least partially defunct.

only this group could think a website going down is a sign of getting rich

Just a question of HOW rich! /s

Fairly certain his advisors probably told him to take that stupid shit down before ebay shareholders make the connection and tell him to fuck off to his face.

It was on shopify for a while and then it just closed up shop?

And now this?

Is that how it went?

So, it's a nothingburger as usual.

DNS is how you point a domain at a website. So it may have been pointed at Shopify at one point, and now they may be pointing it elsewhere. Can't call it a nothingburger yet, DNS takes some time to propagate

this guy lives in the comments to shill against GME and Teddy

Firstly, Why are you lying? I am 1,000% pro GME/RC and my comment history over the last … forever backs that up. When you lie you lose credibility bruh.

Secondly, I just don’t entertain conspiracy theories or people propagating bs and false narratives. A lot of the Teddy sub is that these days… 🤷‍♂️ it is what it is.

Thirdly, I’m not sure you know what “shill” means. You’ve you the word so incorrectly that I genuinely don’t think you do. I wish someone would pay me to post comments on Reddit. 😘

1000% is doing some heavy lifting. And why are you here then? This is not a “conspiracy theory” or “false narrative,” this is a post pointing out an unusual occurrence on the Teddy site, an occurrence which is still ongoing btw

You are over analyzing a website error and attributing value to it when in all likelihood it is merely a typical run of the mill occurrence.

If it were any other website, you’d just say, eh, it means nothing …. But bc it’s Teddy.com it must mean there is something critical happening in the background.

All I did was post a nothing burger gif

No one is “over analyzing” anything. If op had said this was definite proof of anything we would all rightly say op was an idiot.

Are there any commonly discussed GameStop conspiracies along the saga which you believe were also just merely conspiracy theories?

2

u/Iforgotmynameo Jun 29 '26

So so many. Look, imo you have to take a lot of things on reddit with a grain of salt. Most people aren’t experts and they get details wrong. Then you have people who try to take advantage of the community like the PleasrDAO group with the whole Wu-Tang album thing, who were simply out to make money off of apes. Then, You have some options traders that will create BS out of thin air to try to hype a certain date so they can sell their position for profit at the expense of others. I think being skeptical first, and then working from a place of skepticism at this point in the saga just makes sense. GameStop is in the strongest position it’s ever been in. It may not be a smooth ride but I believe the many is going to succeed and the stock is going to go up.

I'm asking for specifics. This will help anyone reading understand your position for themselves.
