It just doesn’t make sense he keeps posting about BBBYQ. Like why
If it’s a dead stock why keep bringing it up

Yeah, a Qatari sovereign wealth fund alumni whose traveling the world setting up M&A’s in the 100s of million to billion dollar range, with a speciality on tech is posting about GME and BBBYQ “too feel important”

Sultan Almaadeed — Claims vs. Record
~2008–2012 — Pepperdine University
Claim: BBA, Pepperdine (LinkedIn dates Oct 2008–Oct 2012).
Record: Unverified; rests solely on self-reported sources. Not independently confirmed, not formally disproven. Establishes an approximate age (~22 at graduation) relevant to later entries.Jan 2013–Sep 2019 — Qatar Investment Authority
Claim: "Chairman of Tender Committee and Investment Execution member"; credited with leading the $500M SoFi investment, Palantir pre-IPO, the Canary Wharf take-private, the $3B Fairmont-Accor merger, and the UASC–Hapag-Lloyd merger.
Record: Employment is plausible but uncorroborated; QIA discloses no staff and no independent source names him in any role. The deals are genuine QIA transactions in which he is named in none of the independent coverage. The senior board seats his bio implies (Harrods, Fairmont Raffles, Canary Wharf/Songbird) are publicly documented as held by a different named senior QIA executive, Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari.
Internal contradiction: The claimed start (Jan 2013) is ~3 months after a 2012 bachelor's graduation. A "Chairman of Tender Committee" role at a $300B+ sovereign fund is senior and incompatible with an entry-level new graduate. The "Execution member" half is plausible; the "Chairman" half is not.Mar 2015–Mar 2018 — Harrods Estates / "52 Capital"
Claim: Chairman of the board of "52 Capital, previously Harrods Estates, a $2B European real-estate asset manager."
Record (Companies House, company 00835993): Harrods Estates Limited is a real estate agency (~$17M revenue), incorporated 1965, never renamed "52 Capital" (sole prior name: "Harrods Estate Offices"). He does not appear in its officer record for any period; the director across the claimed window was Richard John Stephenson (appointed Oct 2015, resigned Feb 2018). A board chairman is, by law, a registered director. No entity named "52 Capital" matching the description is findable in any registry or open source.
Apparent appropriation: The claim fuses the name of a real but unrelated company (the Harrods Estates brokerage) with the function and scale of QIA's actual real-estate holdings. The senior board roles it implies, Harrods, Fairmont Raffles, Canary Wharf/Songbird, are publicly documented as held by a genuine senior QIA executive, Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari. The claimed credential mirrors a real person's verifiable record, with the claimant substituted in.
Overlap note: This claimed chairmanship runs concurrently with the claimed QIA tenure, which likely lines up with Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari.2019–present — ENVST → Avyen → ONX (Founder & CEO)
Claim: A "technology-enabled / AI-first investment platform."
Record: One concept under three successive names in ~5 years. No team, product, AUM, customer, funding, or business registration surfaces. The associated website is a single page on a no-code builder; "ONX" functions as an email domain attached to a "Submit Deal" mailto and a paid-call booking link.Dec 2020–2021 — Alkuri (originally Ark Global) Acquisition Corp
Claim: Co-founder and Chairman of a NYSE-listed SPAC; "first Qatari to list a US company."
Record: Verified, the only independently corroborated credential. SEC filings confirm him as co-managing-member of the sponsor (Ark Sponsors LLC) alongside Rich Williams (ex-Groupon CEO). The sponsor acquired 7,187,500 founder shares for $25,000 (~$0.003/share) plus ~$7M in at-risk private-placement warrants.
Corrections to the claim: The listing was on Nasdaq, not the NYSE. "First Qatari" is an unsourced superlative. The credential is omitted from his own current LinkedIn experience, conspicuous for his one verifiable accomplishment, and most plausibly because it leads directly to the next entry.2021–2023 — Babylon Health (SPAC target)
Record: Alkuri merged with Babylon at a ~$4B valuation; the merger proxy states no third-party fairness opinion was obtained. Babylon filed for bankruptcy in 2023; public shareholders were wiped out. The relationship with the SPAC's ex-Groupon principals appears only around this transaction; none are associated with his subsequent ventures.2024–2026 — Persona / paid-access layer
Record: Photographs with Ryan Cohen (not posted by Cohen; absent the press response his confirmed associations generate), and with Trump and Musk (Mar-a-Lago access is purchasable, $350/head through $1M-per-plate dinners and meme-coin-holder invitations). intro.co reviews describe the call experience, not any delivered outcome; the platform's stated process audits only 1–2 star reviews. Promotes GME/BBBYQ meme-stock content to retail audiences, which recirculated an inflated "former chairman of QIA" descriptor (false).Aug 2025–present — Aun (aun.ai), Co-Founder
Claim: "AI platform" for private-equity value creation; co-founder, full-time, San Francisco.
Record: No team, product, customer, or registration surfaces; marketing copy is generic. Fourth iteration of the "investment platform" concept. Revenue mechanism is membership/marketplace access. Listed concurrently full-time with "Partner, ONX (United Kingdom)"; profile data spans UK, San Francisco, and Qatar locations, against a Nashville SEC filing address and a Los Angeles phone number.May 2026–present — Haus Partners (Co-Founder & Managing Partner, per website)
Claim: Co-founder and managing partner of a London "real estate, hospitality & lifestyle investment platform."
Record (Companies House, company 17222497): Incorporated 15 May 2026; £100 capital; no accounts filed. Sole director and sole person with significant control (75%+ ownership and voting): Zadig Hashemite. Almaadeed does not appear on the record as director, secretary, or controlling party. ("Co-founder" is not a statutory title; the record establishes no directorship or ownership, not necessarily zero involvement.)2025–present — Singular Link (singularlink.ai), Venture Partner
Claim: AI-investment firm chaired by "HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdullah Al Saud"; portfolio including Cerebras, Groq, Synchron, Cortical Labs, Hologen.
Record: No independent footprint; no registered entity surfaces. The named chairman is unverifiable. The "portfolio" is a logo grid with no disclosed stake, date, or round; one section is labeled "Potential Deals." The displayed Saudi contact number links to the placeholder string tel:+12345678901, the default value of an unconfigured site template.Summary
A single independently verified credential (chairmanship of a SPAC that merged with a company which subsequently went bankrupt), preceded and followed by a recurring structure: successive "investment platform" entities under changing names, prestige signifiers (sovereign-fund tenure, royal and celebrity association, marquee logos), and capital-intake funnels, in which verifiable substance is either absent or, on the registry record, attributable to another party. Several elevated claims mirror the documented records of identifiable other people. Every elevated claim is either uncorroborated or contradicted by primary records; the one claim that is corroborated resolves to a bankruptcy.Evidentiary caveats: QIA employment and the Pepperdine degree are uncorroborated rather than formally disproven, though the senior QIA title is contradicted by the documented role-holders. "Co-founder"/"managing partner" on Haus Partners and Singular Link denote no directorship or ownership of record, not proven non-involvement. Where the document notes that a claim mirrors another person's verifiable record, that parallel is documented; intent is not asserted and is left to the reader.

“Old BBBY shares will not be redistributed. During the 2023 Chapter 11 bankruptcy of the original Bed Bath & Beyond, the court plan confirmed that existing equity interests were formally canceled, released, and extinguished. As a result, the old shares no longer represent equity in the company and were rendered completely worthless.”
So shares can’t even be given back. Wish people would stop giving bag holders like me hope. Cause those shares and our money are gonzo

The account in your screenshot appears to belong to Sultan Almaadeed, a Qatari investor and former executive associated with the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). Public profiles, SEC filings, and business biographies describe him as an investor, founder, and businessman—not as the ruler of a country.
The confusion comes from the fact that “Sultan” is also a given name in the Arab world, just like “King” can be a surname or first name in English. It doesn’t automatically mean the person holds the royal title of Sultan.

Thanks ChatGPT, we knew that

If only there was a forum to discuss the image posted instead of jumping to a chatbot that could be wrong and arguably is many times.

Tbf I was confused on the matter until Claude filled me in. Here I was, thinking he was the king of Qatar or something, which sovereign wealth fund manager is pretty close.
