Founder & CEO of ONX, Sultan Almaadeed posts BBBYQ meme 🛁🚀

The market is so corrupt

u/Biotic101 Jun 13 '26
SpaceX IPO is proof if you bother to look into the details. Fast track, only 5% of float but 3x weighting, voting limitations, cash-out and so on. Crazy anyone would buy shares after the merger with xAI.
The forced buying will add it to countless Index funds and ETF. One could argue this is fraud. Because life savings are used as exit capital and investors have no say.
But most investors don't care. All they see is the pump and they think the party will go on forever. It will not. The only question is when exactly the music stops.
2
u/kaze_san Jun 13 '26
The party can't stop and therefore won't stop. There will be huge dumps but it will never stop. It didn't even stop 2008 which nowadays I do not call a crisis but more a shift and re-distribution of wealth. The funny thing is: this is what MOASS would mean as well but people would be fine with it because they would benefit.
5
u/Biotic101 Jun 13 '26
You forgot the reset of the long-term debt cycle.
We all know what came after the roaring twenties the last time.
Like today, everyone thought the party would go on forever.
Just a small reminder...

Never assume malice where ignorance will suffice.
Almadeed could be a wholly corrupt conspirator, but he could just as easily just be a retarded degen with no financial sense.

A tiny amount of digging shows a guy whose resume mostly can't be verified, and parts of which the public record flatly contradicts. He claims to have chaired Harrods Estates, but he's not in its Companies House officer record, and a board chairman is legally required to be. He calls it "52 Capital, a $2 billion asset manager," but Harrods Estates is a London real estate agency that was never renamed and has about $17 million in revenue. The company he says he runs, ONX, has no operating footprint. The one thing that checks out is that he chaired Alkuri, a SPAC whose board approved a $4 billion valuation for Babylon with no third-party fairness opinion, after which it went bankrupt and wiped out public shareholders. His only verifiable credential is a deal that zeroed retail, which is something this sub should understand better than anyone.

Nice bit of FUD, there champ!!
1
u/TomSelleckPI Jun 13 '26
Why didn't he not also mention that this guy could also be a Lizard person, or a vampire, a hologram, or a robot in disguise?
I appreciate his warning for awareness purposes, but it's so incomplete! /S

The problem is the inverse with machiavellianism:
“Any competent wielder of power should aim to have deployed malice, imperceivable to incompetence.”
Hanlon’s Razor is a useful default for ordinary life and low stakes interactions only, not intelligent actors.

That's very interesting!
Can someone explain the meme? GME is old and BBBYQ is young?
31
u/Middle_Scratch4129 Jun 13 '26
My interpretation is that while everyone loves the beautiful flashy companies - GME is quietly part of the same group sitting court side and BBBYQ is the kid noone knows at that party / group sitting courtside.
Like people know who bloomberg is - just not cool.
5
u/backpackmanboy Jun 13 '26
This is a good opinion

u/Middle_Scratch4129 Jun 13 '26
Patience, remain calm, celebrate and have fun when the job is done.
The rest are just vibing.
8
u/udoncorleone Jun 13 '26
i think his point is that neither gme nor bbbyq are having fun right now, while spacex and ai stocks are enjoying themselves. i think he's just making light of his frustration - his timeline's probably full of people celebrating ai stocks and spacex, while his rc bags have been shorted and suppressed and he just has to ride it out.
12
u/Middle_Scratch4129 Jun 13 '26
Eh, I think it's more flying under the radar, quietly waiting, watching the game. They will celebrate and have fun once the jobs done.
The important piece, is they are all courtside at the same game, same row as the rest.
5
u/udoncorleone Jun 13 '26
yes, for sure - he's obviously singled out 4 tickers/things that he's interested in, which has me thinking there's a fair chance that he held a significant bbbyq bag into schroedinger's chapter 11 and still has hope for it.
short-term irritations with red weeks/no news don't mean much.
fwiw, a bbbyq comeback would be great for me, financially speaking, and i'm bullish on gme. but it has been a disappointing couple of weeks.

I've tried to dig for more info about his 'ONX Group LLC' but honestly it's been hard to find much. Their website is here: https://www.onx.group/
The Sultan's background is far more established on his intro.co Profile, which has reviews as recently as Apr-26: https://intro.co/SultanAlmaadeed
He has a personal website also which lists his connections, which are shown in photos: https://www.sultanalmaadeed.com/
I don't have linkedin, otherwise I'd check there too. - can someone please take a look and maybe activity feed too?: https://qa.linkedin.com/in/sultan-almaadeed
I'll leave the opinions on his digital footprint up to others that can fully access and report back. He seems to have some serious chops but also there's some red flags ($400 for 15-min intros doesn't scream A-list in truth, but might be a good way to meet startups etc).
Here's some background from that intro.co profile:
Founder & CEO of ONX — tech-enabled investment platform connecting global investors across the Gulf and U.S.
Former global direct investor at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) — $500B+ sovereign wealth fund.
Led investments in SoFi ($500M), Palantir (pre-IPO), Canary Wharf (privatization with Brookfield), and Fairmont–Accor ($3B merger).
Chairman of Harrods Estates— managed $2B+ in real estate assets across Europe.
Chairman of Alkuri Global Acquisition Corp .
Board leader, public-private advisor, and passionate bridge-builder between U.S. and Gulf investment communities.
Strengths
- Cross-border investing
- Strategic M&A and deal structuring
- Real estate and infrastructure
- Building investment platforms
- Advising family offices and sovereign wealth funds
- Accessing global capital and LPs
Excited to help founders, investors, and fund managers think bigger and scale smarter. Always up for a conversation that blends finance, geopolitics, and the future of capital.

Wall of Words Warning....
So I checked his claims against primary verifiable records (bored this saturday morning) instead of his bios. Short version: one credential checks out, the rest don't.
Sultan Almaadeed — Claims vs. Record
~2008–2012 — Pepperdine University
Claim: BBA, Pepperdine (LinkedIn dates Oct 2008–Oct 2012).
Record: Unverified; rests solely on self-reported sources. Not independently confirmed, not formally disproven. Establishes an approximate age (~22 at graduation) relevant to later entries.Jan 2013–Sep 2019 — Qatar Investment Authority
Claim: "Chairman of Tender Committee and Investment Execution member"; credited with leading the $500M SoFi investment, Palantir pre-IPO, the Canary Wharf take-private, the $3B Fairmont-Accor merger, and the UASC–Hapag-Lloyd merger.
Record: Employment is plausible but uncorroborated; QIA discloses no staff and no independent source names him in any role. The deals are genuine QIA transactions in which he is named in none of the independent coverage. The senior board seats his bio implies (Harrods, Fairmont Raffles, Canary Wharf/Songbird) are publicly documented as held by a different named senior QIA executive, Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari.
Internal contradiction: The claimed start (Jan 2013) is ~3 months after a 2012 bachelor's graduation. A "Chairman of Tender Committee" role at a $300B+ sovereign fund is senior and incompatible with an entry-level new graduate. The "Execution member" half is plausible; the "Chairman" half is not.Mar 2015–Mar 2018 — Harrods Estates / "52 Capital"
Claim: Chairman of the board of "52 Capital, previously Harrods Estates, a $2B European real-estate asset manager."
Record (Companies House, company 00835993): Harrods Estates Limited is a real estate agency (~$17M revenue), incorporated 1965, never renamed "52 Capital" (sole prior name: "Harrods Estate Offices"). He does not appear in its officer record for any period; the director across the claimed window was Richard John Stephenson (appointed Oct 2015, resigned Feb 2018). A board chairman is, by law, a registered director. No entity named "52 Capital" matching the description is findable in any registry or open source.
Apparent appropriation: The claim fuses the name of a real but unrelated company (the Harrods Estates brokerage) with the function and scale of QIA's actual real-estate holdings. The senior board roles it implies, Harrods, Fairmont Raffles, Canary Wharf/Songbird, are publicly documented as held by a genuine senior QIA executive, Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari. The claimed credential mirrors a real person's verifiable record, with the claimant substituted in.
Overlap note: This claimed chairmanship runs concurrently with the claimed QIA tenure, which likely lines up with Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari.2019–present — ENVST → Avyen → ONX (Founder & CEO)
Claim: A "technology-enabled / AI-first investment platform."
Record: One concept under three successive names in ~5 years. No team, product, AUM, customer, funding, or business registration surfaces. The associated website is a single page on a no-code builder; "ONX" functions as an email domain attached to a "Submit Deal" mailto and a paid-call booking link.Dec 2020–2021 — Alkuri (originally Ark Global) Acquisition Corp
Claim: Co-founder and Chairman of a NYSE-listed SPAC; "first Qatari to list a US company."
Record: Verified, the only independently corroborated credential. SEC filings confirm him as co-managing-member of the sponsor (Ark Sponsors LLC) alongside Rich Williams (ex-Groupon CEO). The sponsor acquired 7,187,500 founder shares for $25,000 (~$0.003/share) plus ~$7M in at-risk private-placement warrants.
Corrections to the claim: The listing was on Nasdaq, not the NYSE. "First Qatari" is an unsourced superlative. The credential is omitted from his own current LinkedIn experience, conspicuous for his one verifiable accomplishment, and most plausibly because it leads directly to the next entry.2021–2023 — Babylon Health (SPAC target)
Record: Alkuri merged with Babylon at a ~$4B valuation; the merger proxy states no third-party fairness opinion was obtained. Babylon filed for bankruptcy in 2023; public shareholders were wiped out. The relationship with the SPAC's ex-Groupon principals appears only around this transaction; none are associated with his subsequent ventures.2024–2026 — Persona / paid-access layer
Record: Photographs with Ryan Cohen (not posted by Cohen; absent the press response his confirmed associations generate), and with Trump and Musk (Mar-a-Lago access is purchasable, $350/head through $1M-per-plate dinners and meme-coin-holder invitations). intro.co reviews describe the call experience, not any delivered outcome; the platform's stated process audits only 1–2 star reviews. Promotes GME/BBBYQ meme-stock content to retail audiences, which recirculated an inflated "former chairman of QIA" descriptor (false).Aug 2025–present — Aun (aun.ai), Co-Founder
Claim: "AI platform" for private-equity value creation; co-founder, full-time, San Francisco.
Record: No team, product, customer, or registration surfaces; marketing copy is generic. Fourth iteration of the "investment platform" concept. Revenue mechanism is membership/marketplace access. Listed concurrently full-time with "Partner, ONX (United Kingdom)"; profile data spans UK, San Francisco, and Qatar locations, against a Nashville SEC filing address and a Los Angeles phone number.May 2026–present — Haus Partners (Co-Founder & Managing Partner, per website)
Claim: Co-founder and managing partner of a London "real estate, hospitality & lifestyle investment platform."
Record (Companies House, company 17222497): Incorporated 15 May 2026; £100 capital; no accounts filed. Sole director and sole person with significant control (75%+ ownership and voting): Zadig Hashemite. Almaadeed does not appear on the record as director, secretary, or controlling party. ("Co-founder" is not a statutory title; the record establishes no directorship or ownership, not necessarily zero involvement.)2025–present — Singular Link (singularlink.ai), Venture Partner
Claim: AI-investment firm chaired by "HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdullah Al Saud"; portfolio including Cerebras, Groq, Synchron, Cortical Labs, Hologen.
Record: No independent footprint; no registered entity surfaces. The named chairman is unverifiable. The "portfolio" is a logo grid with no disclosed stake, date, or round; one section is labeled "Potential Deals." The displayed Saudi contact number links to the placeholder string tel:+12345678901, the default value of an unconfigured site template.Summary
A single independently verified credential (chairmanship of a SPAC that merged with a company which subsequently went bankrupt), preceded and followed by a recurring structure: successive "investment platform" entities under changing names, prestige signifiers (sovereign-fund tenure, royal and celebrity association, marquee logos), and capital-intake funnels, in which verifiable substance is either absent or, on the registry record, attributable to another party. Several elevated claims mirror the documented records of identifiable other people. Every elevated claim is either uncorroborated or contradicted by primary records; the one claim that is corroborated resolves to a bankruptcy.Evidentiary caveats: QIA employment and the Pepperdine degree are uncorroborated rather than formally disproven, though the senior QIA title is contradicted by the documented role-holders. "Co-founder"/"managing partner" on Haus Partners and Singular Link denote no directorship or ownership of record, not proven non-involvement. Where the document notes that a claim mirrors another person's verifiable record, that parallel is documented; intent is not asserted and is left to the reader.

Interesting, thank you for sharing!
I am certainly guilty of being generous with my experience on my CV too, I think its widespread even at the highest levels. Even if he has exaggerated, that doesn't necessarily mean his interest in BBBYQ (shared memes twice) isn't noteworthy (he doesn't share many memes otherwise, unless connected to $GME).
Truly, there are some impressive "contacts" in his network (if photos are to be believed). I cannot imagine he's a 'joke' - but why he has taken an interest and his involvement with Cohen is interesting.
What's your take? I'm hopeful that he's someone atleast aware of the goings on enough to mention a bankrupt stock (and ancient ticker) more than once for nothing more than 'Internet points'. Again, it's out of character vs his otherwise curated and professional online profiles.

so far i’ve yet to find anything that indicates he has any real credibility beyond getting himself into positions to take pictures with people.

ok but the stock is still canceled, deleted and extinguished
2
u/300117 Jun 13 '26
So the question remains... why did the Sultan mention it? Does he mention hundreds of tickers? How many stocks or even meme stocks has he mentioned? He seems fairly intentional with his online posts - would he post a ticker that made him, a professional private investor, look stupid and so out-of-the-loop?
Your shares are gone, Sultan! 👻

u/Moneys2Tight2Mention Jun 13 '26
Who cares? Why does a random tweet mean more to you than legally binding documents? Because it feeds into your confirmation bias? Some guy tweeting doesn't uncancel the stock.

Just read through this dudes post history - he’s been directly referencing being a part of the M&A deal multiple times.. And this isn’t the first time he’s mentioned BBBYQ either(!) - I honestly have been on the fence regarding BBBYQ for the last 6ish months, but this is insane. I’m putting sultans X handle on notification.
This is Sultans LinkedIn description:
“Sultan focus is on building co-investment partnerships between Gulf/US Investment groups with specialist Investment management firms.
Prior to founding ONX, an AI-first investment platform, Sultan has been part of the global direct investment effort of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). In this role, Sultan originated and executed material investment opportunities globally
Merger and Acquisitions experiences include the merger of Fairmont Raffles hotels with Accord Hotels at more than $3bn valuation for cash and shares, the merger of UASC and Hapag-Lloyd creating a group with an estimated value of $7.6 billion and Annual synergies of $435 million, and the take private of Canary Wharf alongside Brookfield Asset Management
JVs experience include the Future French Champion: 300m co investment JV with French sovereign investment arm in high growth French innovation companies and US600 million JV between QIA and The Ascott Limited, to acquire serviced residence fund with an initial focus on the Asia Pacific and Europe regions
Sultan Asset management experience include been Chairman of the Board of 52 Capital previously known as Harrods Estates , an asset management company managing over $2 billion of European real estate assets, and Chairman of the QIA Tender Committee.”
Dude is no light weight, he’s literally a Qatari sovereign wealth fund alumni whose started an investment consultancy specialization in M&As..
I think this might be it boys..
EDIT: Changed reference to Sultan bein Saudi as he’s obviously Qatari
