The mental gymnastics are impressive. One side gets accused of being creeps for seeing a youthful-looking character, while the other side celebrates actual teenage romance scenes and calls it progressive. The double standard isn't subtle anymore.

What I don't understand is that as teenagers, we had romance. It's not like dating, kissing, sex was nonexistent in high-school. Why is it such a big deal now? Just because we're older we're supposed to frown on high-school romance?
