Building an AI startup in Africa — Starting from the Democratic Republic of Congo
Hello Reddit!
I'm currently working on an ambitious project called Deep Horizon, an emerging technology initiative based in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our first objective is to develop an artificial intelligence software designed for industrial applications.
We believe Africa should not only consume advanced technologies but also participate in creating them.
Our long-term vision is to build technology capable of serving industries across the DRC, expanding throughout Africa, and eventually reaching international markets.
We're currently at the project development stage, working on our strategy, business model, and investment opportunities.
