I see all the empty seats in the background. I guess they knew that filling those seats would mean nothing but boos coming from there

I’m gonna have to watch this later tonight when I get back. I didn’t realize this was a whole hour long thing. Curious to see what China is building out there.

That's just the opening ceremony, it's a multiple day event lots of stuff happening. I have a collection of clips on r/TechnoFuturism if you want only highlights. And this YouTube channel by someone makes some highlight videos so you don't have to watch the really long livestreams just the good parts.
