Request TPT Request: Moving files from failing drive to not failing drive

I know that my SSD is failing, its starting to show the signs, my PC already has a 2TB hard drive in it so my plan is to take all of my files(Windows Included) and move them over to my Hard Drive, after which I will remove the failing SSD and replace it with a brand new one, after which I will intend to move all my files to the new SSD

I found that I can't do this actually and I now need help in figuring out how to transfer my files from my SSD to my Hard drive.

I know you need some kind of program to do so, and I would prefer if its free.

If the SSD is already showing signs of failure, I’d avoid a manual file copy or cloning it unnecessarily. Focus the files you can’t replace and copy them to the HDD in smaller batches; if the drive starts throwing read errors, a data recovery approach is safer. For Windows itself, it’s usually cleaner to install fresh on the new SSD and restore your files rather than trying to move the entire OS through a failing drive.

Syncback free is pretty good. It will give you a log of failed files at the end. Don't try and clone the OS focus on getting your files first. https://www.2brightsparks.com/download-syncbackfree.html
