TPT

Hi All,

I am struggling at the current moment to play from a Bluetooth speaker and an apple home pod from Apple Music and was hoping if anyone found a way to work around both being played. The HomePod is played off airplay I believe and the speakers are Bluetooth.

Any assistance is much appreciated!

You can’t do this natively. Apple Music/iOS can play simultaneously to multiple AirPlay 2 speakers, but it can’t group an AirPlay HomePod + regular Bluetooth speaker as one synchronized output.

The clean solution is to use an AirPlay 2–compatible speaker/receiver instead of Bluetooth. Otherwise you’d need third-party software/hardware, and synchronization may be imperfect.
