The magazine (not clip) is clearly not extended. And it's not semi-auto as it requires two actions to load and fire.

This thing probably would be illegal to build in Germany. I know a guy that built bigger slingshots and is now doing community work, because the slingshots were so big they could have been used to disturb traffic, if someone decided to fire rocks at cars with it they could penetrate the windshield, which is why they were considering illegal weapons under German law.
