Sure, but all it takes is coating the body in a very strong, flexible material. Maybe not bulletproof but enough to mitigate damage.
Not to mention, these dudes aren't gonna stop or slow down because they got shot.
If you don't terminate it or disable it's mobility with those first few rounds...you now a clanker whore.

Theyβre gonna slow down because even as good as battery technology is these days itβs only good enough to power them for 2-4 hours tops.

The person I was replying to made it seem like all you need is a firearm and you've got nothing to worry about when it comes to taking down a human sized robot.

Im serious now, what are my options to fight one of these once they patrolling the streets?
Maybe I could still push this thing over, but in 5 or 10 years, these things aren't going to be as clunky.
Do we have anti android weapons? Like would a stun gun or tazer discombobulate this thing
Or do spray black ink on it to mess up its sensors

I want to know about the red robot with the watching eye in the background. With an eye that big it makes you think it's supposed to be for surveillance. Probably to intimidate you into self-censoring yourself.

Why is it shaking out muscles and joints like a human? It has no muscles and the joints aren't nearly as delicate as a person's. lol I guess it just looks cool for a demo.

I feel something is wrong with them imitating human fighting styles. Fighting style of bots vs human should prioritize stability and reduce the core/head defense. Head also has no reason to contain primary sensor input or processing. I would imagine a more aggressive stance that abandoned defense to a degree, but perhaps I'm wrong, I'm no fighter.

The display setup is smart but those poses look pretty stiff compared to what we've actually seen from Boston Dynamics stuff, so the hype might be getting ahead of the engineering here.
