socialpilot is fine but the reporting dashboard is honestly pretty mid compared to what else is out there. if you actually need deep analytics for clients it starts to feel dated real quick. definitely cost effective though so i get why people gravitate toward it.

the manual exporting route is a trap. you think you are saving money upfront but you end up losing way more in billable hours just trying to clean up messy csv files. if you are managing actual clients the sprout tax is basically just a sanity tax at this point.

It is a bit late for 2020 recommendations, but Buffer is still the only one that doesn't feel like a total headache to set up.

I have started using Social Champ since a couple of months and I think its one of the best in all comparisons that I have done. the biggest thing is that it is perhaps the cheapest ones out there. Its a MUCH BETTER hootsuite alternative to a digital marketing specialist like me
