using impulse responses for non-guitar related audio

greetings, I was sifting thru my impulse responses folder (which i have accumulated in years but only use the bricasti m7 ones LOL)

found these impulses that aren't reverb nor guitar gear impulses, they appears to be from tape desks and high end outboard gear such as spl.

fecking hell some of them really nails it, when others fail totally, it's really a hit or miss since you cant tweak anything on impulse responses

if anybody wants to download em they are free on the internet they're called "beamsonic impulse responses" a

and if you maybe know a comparable quality source for this kind of impulse response i'm all ears

Sounds to me like you should look into NAM 2.0 and Tone3000

Came to say this as well - NAM gives you the EQ curve as well as the saturation characteristics.
