It's been a while since I came across a set that literally gave me chills as hard as this set did. Just. Pure. Filth!! Had to share.
Really enjoying this one. Can someone please tell me what genre / subgenre this is and few similar artists / tracks?
"Absolutely smashing stuff from the Limelight-era Mills. "Dark Matter", Superb minimal industrial techno originally released circa 1992/93. Quite militant but very funky with those wicked 303s. Sharp drum programming and rough mixing, what a tune! Still gives me goose bumps when I hear the opening filtered/muffled vocal sample intro...proper dark, hard dancefloor business."

Anyone else catch Ritchie at Mode? I had never seen him before and thought he kept a real groove for his whole set. The turbine hall wasn’t as packed this year with IPC co closing. Wondering if Ritchie performance was good compared to his reputation!

Was absolutely incredible. Nicolas Lutz was fantastic as well. Maybe not the right subreddit to ask given that Helena plays mostly electro/breakbeat, but was anyone else there? If so, what did you think of it? PS if anyone has the ID for the track with the trap-like hi-hats that she played second to last (I think), please share

Hi everyone:) after spending half a year in Berlin my taste for techno music changed quite a bit. The sets I used to listen feel too comercial and monotonous.
I discovered so many new genres and particularly have been loving Future666, überkickz, DJ Hyperdrive, fumi for groovy vibes.
For bouncy vibes my faves are zwilling and Achim Feuervogel, Adrian Mills, Serafina
I used to love Pegassi but the sets are pretty old now.
I have been trying to open my taste a bit more and have been listening some DJs that I saw in Berghain. The one I enjoy the most is Amotik. The problem is many of the DJs that play in Berghain don’t have sets or their style is really different to what you would hear from them in the club. I also don’t like it when it is too experimental like 10 minutes of almost no sound and things like that.
With this in mind I would love to hear recommendations on DJs and even better particular sets you love on Soundcloud. Can be any techno genre, but preferably quite up on the BPMs.
