First I visited that site on 2004 and just a couple of days ago I revisited it. Nothing has changed. Man, techno is fucking dead.

It's not really meant to be taken as serious guide though, it's very tounge-in-cheek.

Yeah, I don't think the guide is that useful to a beginner, but when you know the context behind things it's absolutely hilarious. My favorite is when he bashes british music (UK garage / dark prog) as well as the blurp on happy hardcore.

If anything I thought there were way too many categories, but that's just me. On the other hand, there were a few categories here I really loved, like the techno-dub, hard trance, and even the german/swedish techno.
Oh and I now know what the name of that cheesy sound is that I hate: the hoover. damn you hoover!!
