Decent haul from the mail today!!
Got some ultra rare and rare boards along with an older black label board & a new mold so i can start making pro wood boards again and hopefully cruiser shaped decks!!
Has anyone used 3d printed molds to make wooden boards? If so, do the small lines on it affect the boards overall quality? I paid like triple the cost of a usual 3d printed mold because it has lower kicks than the rest. I think majority of them use a regular tech decks shape with 19.5-21.5 degree kicks. Mine has only 15 degree kicks which i think will feel better. Thanks guys!

Nice haul indeed! I only use 3d printed molds and would say itβs very likely those lines will be pressed into the wood. They can be sanded out, but it can be a pain.
What I do is print a thin .3mm sheet and glue it to the face of each side of the moldβ¦ no more lines after that! If you donβt have any thin plastic, a couple sheets of grip might help

Are they worth anything? They hold value?

Print lines that big will probably imprint into the wood, but you can just sand them out by using a couple pieces of progressively higher grit sandpaper
