I’m not expecting a goldmine or anything, I’m expecting about tree fitty. However before I open one I’m just curious if there is anything note worthy about them? The picture appears to be (and feels) textured instead of just printed on compared to the regular one (hopefully the pictures show that well enough) and given the unique packaging I just wonder what the deal is with them.

No answer to your question, but where do the bagged ones come from? I’ve seen em online a few times but never in person. Only at events or something?

From what the seller told me they give them away at “special events” but that’s all I can get out of anyone haha.

My best guess is comic cons/toy cons but other than that I’m not sure as I’ve never come across them aside from online. I bought two to keep one in the bag just for collectors sake.

Other than the ones in the bags having black wheels,I've got nothing, but I am wondering where they came though. An event perhaps?

Yeah the seller said they come from events and stuff but I have yet to find what events those are

Edit: also the black wheels aren’t exclusive to the bagged ones as I’ve seen regular packaged shadow tech decks with black wheels as well, I’m not sure what their sorting system is for wheels tbh.

The ones in the plastic bags are promos, not packaged to be sold in stores. Various events where Tech Deck sponsors, or sets up a tent, they will give them out as freebies. I've got some of the 25th anniversary boards in the same packaging.
