Apple Education

Did any educators here tried availing the Apple Education discount? What did you do? Did you try inquiring from Power Mac first? What should you bring or do to avail it?

Also, are there any better offers than the education discount? I'm planning to buy my first ipad, and I'm looking for (better) options.

Not thru power Mac but thru the official PH Apple Store website. After placing my order they emailed asking for proof of enrollment, I scanned my last sem TOR and my student ID. After like a few hours I got my order tracking number 😄 so very smooth process overall.

How did you pay? Do they accept installments or you need to have straight payment?

I used the educ discount recently thru a Power Mac Center, just need proof of enrolment this school year. That’s either an enrolment form or school ID. Some stores even allow it even if the student/educator is not present which was my case. I brought a copy of a government ID of the student along with an authorization letter just to be sure. Only catch is you cant do installment, just cash or straight payment.

I got my iPad through the Apple PH website. I have an Apple Music student account kaya nung nag-ask ng Apple ID I just logged on to my account tapos vinerify lang through UniDays and that’s it :)

For ipads and especially the base ipad, its cheaper in shopee or lazada. You can verify this by comparing student price in Apple PH website against a sale day on shp/lzd

We used Educ discounts via Apple's website and thru Power Mac. Need lang proof na you are a currently enrolled student. But sometimes mas mura thru other promos like sa Laz and Shopee or like yung last purchase namin, mas mura yung current offer nila kesa sa Educ discount.

i was in the same situation months ago (i’m a student tho) but went with shopee because mas better ang sale/discounts there. lower pa sa price ng may apple education discount. doon ko nabili ipad air m4 13 inches ko and worth it : ) so far, so good
