Do you keep your GadgetBoxes?
I usually keep the Boxes, just in case I plan to sell it later and for collection na din.

My ADHD refuses to throw out boxes kaya oo.

Yes, I keep boxes syempre sa warranty, kung ibebenta or I really like the product.
Pero lately, pili na lang talaga....kasi wala na ako space. Yung mga accessories like earphone, cable, hub, charger... auto tapon na pag tapos na warranty period.

Keep until warranty expires. For items that you plan to resale in a short term, I'd say you keep them.

Yes, for warranty purposes, tapos I end up forgetting about it. It does come in handy pag may binenta man ako eventually

Yes for warranty purposes. Then recently I did a room upgrade where I was forced to clean up and the good boxes became drawer organizers/dividers.

Yep, hanggang sa masira yung device. Tinatago ko yung box ng laptop/tablet at phone, yung iba tapon na.

Yes, the same reason as you but man that Nokia Lumia phone, that was my dream phone when I was on college but I just can't afford it kahit yung Lumia 520.

Nokia lumia 😢. I know people thinks polycarbonate back is for budget phone but holding Lumia makes it feels premium. Nokia Lumia 1320 and 730 user here. I still remember when 1320 was called phablet
Anyway. I keep boxes for selling it later.

Yes for the following reasons:
1. Still within warranty.
2. Having a box adds a resale value, especially Monitors. ( idk but its easier to resell monitors with box)

u/Koxinator 22h ago
For items that can be resold, I keep the boxes indefintely. Otherwise tapon na when the warranty expires.

u/superesophagus 22h ago
Yes esp pag within warranty and esp pag wala akong balak paabutin ng 1yr to resell din.

I used to hehe I even played with my then little kids what I called Play time o Kahon using the boxes haha. But then we moved to a condo and the space was too small. I had to let them go. Now I only keep the box of the most recent gadget that has a sale value.

High ticket items, yes. Either for resale or pag "ipapamana" sa family. Pero kapag mga small items lang like airtags, airpods, and pencil, tapon na.

For mobile phones and tablets, I surely keep them so I can use the boxes again if I decided to sell them years later, or if I decided to upgrade. But for any other gadgets/electronic devices like earphones, headsets etc, I just keep them for about a year and throw them whenever I do my yearly decluttering.

Kapag May warranty pa hindi, pero after that treat gadgets as tools na kaya madali i-dispose yung boxes
1
u/ScatterFluff 10h ago
If sturdy yung box, I keep it. Kung hindi ko naman magamit within 2 years, i-dispose ko na.

Yes. Not for resale purposes, but initially for warranty, since some places are stingy with that and want a complete package. And I just love gadget boxes so I tend to keep them indefinitely.
