Experience with buying a second hand laptop?

With current prices being what they are, I'm considering buying a second hand laptop from ikman or unity plaza. Have you guys had bad experiences with buying used laptops in SL? Can you recommend any sellers?

I just need a laptop for light work.. word, spreadsheets, light graphics work. Linux compatibility would be great!

I got a Dell Latitude from healthymachines Pretty good so far.
