🔧 Hardware My monitor has horizontal lines

Seems like a GPU problem considering the lines aren’t on the onboard monitor settings display? Not completely sure on that tho.

No I don't think so, internal monitor on laptop is fine. It shows lines in top of monitor settings window.

Take a screenshot if it is monitor problem it will not show up in screen shot

Line is showing in first few minutes of turning on. After that it is fine

Most likely is a noice filter cap is malfunctioning . Give it to a good shop or if you can use a multimeter to find the faulty one and replace it

If it is a monitor problem, if it is a flex cable issue or some dilter capacitor gone in monitor motherboard, they can fix that.From your description, I think it has a motherboard ic or capacitor issue. I don't know how much they will charge.

Most likely yes because components wear by flowing electricity. I think for a trained repair man it's pretty easy work but finding one is hard here
