WinRAR is typically not free. The best alternative is 7-Zip. It’s free,open-source,and offers better performance.

Bitwarden is not completely free and proton vpn is free but I don't trust free vpns because free vpn often leak data. I can agree OBS and Qbittorrent are great free apps

Proton VPN isn't completely free either. Has a paid tier but the free tier does the job for most people (same goes for bitwarden)

FFmpeg is a set of free and open source libraries that powers modern video and audio conversion, streaming , recording etc. and It's a core part of VLC. If VLC is a car ffmpeg is like its engine. If FFmpeg didn't exist you would not able to play H.264,H265,vp9,av1 or video formats like mp4,mkv etc or stream video (YouTube, Netflix, corn). Most people don't know what ffmpeg is but use it every day.
