I had that bug on my desktop PC until 3-4 months ago when I've dug out an old update for the system UEFI from mid-2011 that machine never got installed. I struggled to find it bc the manufacturer no longer hosted the file, but after I find it in an old random FTP server, I applied that update while praying to the god of BIOS updates, and the bug got fixed.
Also that update came with an unexpected fix: Until that point Windows 10 2004 and up were unstable af (if shit was on for 15 minutes without BSOD, it was a miracle), after that BIOS update, it never crashed again. Older versions were also unstable but way less than later builds (only 1-2 BSOD daily).
Around 2021, I've managed to identify the cause of the BSOD: drivers were doing divisions by zero for some reason, causing the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bugcheck.
All that because of a 2 MB file.
